Sweeten Up Your Network

Student Alumni Career Networking Night

Tues, 4/10/2018
6:00 to 8:00 pm
Skylight Room, The Commons, UMBC

In partnership with UMBC Career Month and Alumni Relations, the UMBC Student Alumni Association (SAA) is proud to host Sweeten Up Your Network, a networking event for students and alumni from all majors and years.

Students:

This event will allow you to learn effective networking skills, how to get beyond feeling awkward, how to hand out business cards like a pro, and how to turn meeting someone for the first time into a memorable and successful experience. Students will get the opportunity to network with many successful UMBC alumni from diverse majors as they share some of their experiences and tips for making the most of your time at UMBC. A full list of alumni professionals will be made available here, in the weeks leading up to the event and the day of the event.

Please RSVP via the events section of UMBCworks. This event is sure to help ease the stress of networking and allows students a chance to build their portfolio of professional contacts.

Alumni:

What do you wish you had known about life after college while you were still a student? Join SAA for a networking event. Get to know some current UMBC students while offering them useful life advice and helping them to polish their networking skills. Alumni are invited to share their experiences and give students a realistic picture of their respective fields.

To attend and volunteer to participate, please fill out the registration form through the Alumni Association website.
